Zorro 2.66 is now available on https://zorro-project.com/download.php under "New versions". New Features: https://zorro-project.com/manual/en/new.htm. For C++ scripts a project file is now automatically generated, so you can directly use the VC++ debugger without manually creating a project.

This release candidate will become the official release when no bugs are found in the next time. Please test everything and report any issues here! As usual, if you're the first one to find a new and serious bug in the release candidate, you can get a free Zorro S subscription or support extension.

When I start this version of Zorro, it prints:
Quote
Zorro S 2.65.6b
I'm not sure why it's printing a beta version number.

I tried out the automatically generated project file. I started a tiny script called test_basiccpp.cpp.

With Debug and x86 selected, the debugger successfully launches the 32-bit Zorro, and the test_basiccpp script automatically launches. The debugger works.

With Debug and x64 selected, the debugger successfully launches the 64-bit Zorro. However, the test_basiccpp script is NOT automatically launched. From looking at the project file, it looks like it was trying to open a script named test_basiccpp64 (which does not exist). Anyways, the debugger indeed works in 64-bit mode.

I'm not sure why the project file's Debug is starting the script in Test mode in the first place. Why not just start the right Zorro version and let the developer choose between Test, Train, and Trade modes? Or better yet, maybe put all three configurations in the project file.

Thank you for the feedback! We'll upload in short a new version that has a better version number and does not automatically start the script in test mode. We'll also check the 64 bit issue.

Hello,
I am still using the 2.66. Zorro S Version. Today I got this error message:

Error 063: -i option requires Zorro S
Zorro S 2.66.3

AL04-G2-R3-0120-V1 compiling...................................
Read AL04-G2-R3-0120-V1_1.par............................

Where does this -i option come from? Zorro S key is in the fix.ini included (my name is also registered here)??

Thanks Petra,

I am wondering why I got this error:

1. Not using a command line statement in the script
2. Having Zorro -S running?
