The brand new Zorro version 3..01 is now available on the Download page. It comes with the new Evaluation Shell that greatly improves system development. As a use case, we applied the shell to the Z12 strategy and almost doubled the annual return. The full list of the new features can be found on https://zorro-project.com/manual/en/news.htm.
This release candidate will become the official release when no bugs are found in the next time. Please test everything and report any issues here! As usual, anyone who finds a new and serious bug in the release candidate will get a free Zorro S subscription or support extension.

New version 3.01.1 uploaded. This version fixes a bug that happened when you started a script, then changed the bar period without clicking "Edit", then started the script again.

Evaluation Shell sounds great. I look forward to testing it.
So far some small errors with the Z12+ system loading. .ini and .cpp files can't be opened. I have the same issue for Z6+, but I have tested all of the Z systems yet. ini errors are fixed by creating the respect ini (Z6+.ini and Z12+.ini) files.
Log extracts below -
Error 062: Can't open "Z12+.ini" (rb:2) Z12+ V1.0: X PH H4 B0 V1 SF0.0
Algo A2_87 (USD/CAD, 120M) Error 062: Can't open "Z12+.cpp" (rb:2) Load GBP/USD prices.. 177906 min Read Z12+.fac Read Z12+.par Load USD/CAD prices.. 177906 min
Cheers, Adam

Hmm, this is not a normal start message. Neither Z12+.ini nor Z12+.cpp are needed - we will look into that. Have you installed 3.01 in a new folder or in your previous Zorro folder?

Ok, I believe the mystery is solved: 3.01.1 contained debug versions of Z12 and Z6 for some reason. I've just uploaded the release versions here: https://opserver.de/down/Z12.zip.
Unzip them in your Strategy folder. Make sure that the Z12.dll is now from January 23, not from January 22. This should solve the problem. We'll put the release versions also in the 3.01 setup in the next hours.

Upgrading the Forum, will also improve your SEO... as there are new plugins that can change the level of exposure you have the the web. In addition, we all are bound by previous limitations, we find it sometimes hard to adapt. mostly because we think changes are not possible to be easy.
