I was refering to Toz's work. Nice work so far Towelie. Yes a skin is required. It's not really a full model without one. About the wheel well, There are more vertices than could be noticed. I spaced them a bit. If I added more vertices to the wells I'd have add them to the doors and fenders. Don't feel like doing that right now. I still need to use this in my game lol. I'll get more than 1000 polies soon. here some wire frame shots. I want very few faces in the hood because I want it sharp and edgy lookin. I'll try slanting it. Tell me what ya think.

@FoxZero: Yea, Driver 3 rocks . However, there is no way I could ever play it again due to bad memories. No way lol. Playing games can really take me right back to the olden days. Thanks a lot fo comments on my work. Hang in there FoxZero and you'll make it. Just remember me on the fantasy model. I got there in the end lol. You will too . @Toz Thanks for the encouragement. LOL I still play D3 all the time. Blowing up France never gets old. I'm definatly fineshing this car. I'm just not doing an ultra high poly model. I have no need to. By the time time I'm done with everything including engine and interior, It'd probably be about 3-4 thousand polies. Good enough for me. Texture is most important for this modle anyways. Hope you participate as well. Due dates not for a while. I also have to finish the brainstorm for my novel 'System Failure'. I'll work on that tonight.

Oh yeah. Any ideas for a reward I could give? Can't do cash, I need to buy my dad a birthday present.

I've got the coolest taillight design ever! The big two half cyliders are the break lights. The littles one are the blinkers. The backing up lights will be located on the licence plate, a white streak across the break lights, and a streak on the roof break roof light. (Smooth shaded)


Here's the muffler. There will be to of these. Had to flat shade. Looked so ugly smoothed.


Theses new attachments bring me up to 1236 polies. I still need to make the sides look less blocky. They need to look smooth. This car will have a good combination of ruff and smooth edges, but it will always look viscios!!

well so far my model is at 1840(ish) tris. basically all of my polies right now are going into the curves of the car, and getting the lines right. So far I have the doors "molded" in ready to be cut out if i decide to maket hem seperate, and same with the hath... after a bit more work with the lines (get it less bumpy and to flow properly..) ill start work ont he front. I dont have a pic.. as you really wont notice any thing new from the last pic i showed.. unless i were to show a wireframe.. and im to lazy for that :P
ill model more tomorrow night and over the week end... and show a semi completed rear end...

also I dont have 3dgs installed right now.. and probably wont bother installing it.. so could i just show some renders of the car? if not ill just install it..
