on the skin use an alpha map tga... white=100% visible black=completly clear
anything inbetween varys. (gray for example would be 50% )

@ Towelie I'm at 5000 polys already and I'm not evan close to you. The finale shots must be in WED. So have the window be a separate model. Set its tranparency in WED. Then attach it in WED or do what I'll be doing and assemble the thing in C-Script using 'vec_for_vertex'.

I got a high detail front tire done. It's about 500 polies and it looks like... any other tire. However I have no rim. I'm not a rims guy, but my car needs them. Any suggestions on rims? Nothing to kiddyish, just something small that would fit with classic and modern.

wel i finally started my front tonight.. only worke for like an hour.. and started over a few times(on just the front)
and its comming along okay.. painint he but trying to get the head light area to look right with just a side and top pic.. should have made a front too.. :P
anyw ays ill show pics as soon as the front looks like the actual front end..
oh.. and one of my wheeels(tire+rim) is 30,000 polys.... i think im a litte over.. :P
(though it was just a for fun rim... :P
