Yeah, when I'm looking at my screens, i can say my tool has some nice points. And maybe some guys around here would like to have a InGame TrackEditor for their racing simulation project. It was now before one year i stopped the development. There were several problems with the software. Maybe I was too young for that. Really. Okay, let's forget the old days.
Thanks MacWomble for the kind words. Well the latest stable version can deform 3d terrain(hmp) in realtime, painting on terrain and setting objects. Just for users, who hasn't got much experience with editors and game design. The control is very easy. Per left mouse click you can stretch the terrain up to a hill and with the right click down. Painting is as well extremely easy: select texture, draw with a round pencil on the terrain skin. But, what do you mean exactly with stripes?
I would find it great to update the tool: A complete new GUI, faster code, better functions, more easier to use and finally an HMP/WMP export. MacWomble, I would like it when I had an expert on my side.
TheExpert, I know that's it a basic tool and maybe a little bit bad. But don't compare it with a real road editor. My aim was it, to create a easy-to-use tool for gamers(not developers). So real editors are mostly programmed in c++/c# compiled as a windows application.
Don't get me wrong, but I was too young didn't know what "Free for non commercial use" mean.
At the moment the web site is not used.
