Cool, may it be, that there is a bug with transparency?
I've set bright on then bright off and then my model was transparent. Also when I load another model. Only a restart sets the transparency off.

And checkboxes will be better.

Sometimes it´s set to -0

Next version will be with "checkboxes" for the flags, like in "Easy Particles".
