Does anyones knows a shader like this, with many more textures?
I can't find any information about that.

well, like what??

you can have 8 textures normally
and you can have nearly unlimited number of textures using textur atlas (saving many textures in one big texture and accessing thru different texture coordinate offsets)

you have mtlSkin1...4 and entSkin1...4. those you can access in your shader. code for what?? i still dont knwo about what your are talking exactly.

you can do anything you want with your textures. it doesnt matter if you use two or eight. it only makes differenc in performance, and maybe some cards dont support it.

If you view the list of GPUs that support shaders in the Wiki, ATI Radeon 9600 and nVidia gForce 6xxx series supports up to 8 textures.

Perhaps he's referring to Multitexture shaders for Terrains? Then I can imagine why he would want 8 textures, and why he needed it to be coded.

You might be able to pull off two RGB blend maps and 6 textures for multitexturing, but that'd be probably the farthest you could easily go.
