ah yes sure its azreal darks textures =) i forgot to zip them up with it!
edit: on second thoughts the wad got deleted when i reformatted my pc, but if you add the castle wad to it maybe rename it to free.wad it should work seen as the used the same textures

Alright thanks, that solves the question. I was wondering because, as became a popular topic on the forums once again recently, A6 seems to be passing the GPU completely when rendering wmb geometry. Instead, the calculations appear to be done by the CPU, which in my case results in bad fps with wmb geometry (2,26 ghz p4). Why ever A6 doesn't have a clue there is a graphics card that could be used for this. Now that hardware-side T&L is even required for running the engine (since A5 mode is no more existant), you could expect A6 to use more of the GPU's power. However, on geometry, it doesn't.
