Hello,

I worked with the AUM53 shader tweaked for foggability by Steampipe. I realized, that two neighoring light installations disturb each other, but I found no way of "hiding" lights from the shader.
Even if the surplus lights are in a box, 1000 quants away, the shader fails.
Is there any way to "clip" the dynamic lights away from the shader?

Check out Matt Aufderheide's Ultimate Lighting Shader Pack. It uses only the closest lights to the player.

Anyway a point light ought to have an attenuation factor..

Hello,

what is an Attu...thingy? Can I adjust it in the dynamic light code?

If I want to create a level with several light sources along the way, I have to be able to limit the reach of the light sources, being, that the number is limited.

Is there a way to use the Attenuation Factor in the shader to limit the "reach" of lights? or some other tools to make sure that when out of lightrange, a shaded entitiy does not "see" the remote light?

I don't like the concept of switching lighst on and off as you go.
