It doesn't look like it's flying to me. Let me check again.

EDIT: You are correct. It is floating 8 quants above ground..strange.

Hi Marco,

Please give us some advices about changes in new update (6.40). What should i change in my physics code ?

Because, before i have did many things to make my physics car better. After i updated 6.40 beta, my physics car is acting CRAZY ! For example, at high speed it is lifting his front side, it seems to me very light even i increased weight more.

Here is picture :

I solved this problem with a new hollow cube that sourounds my level.
It´s not set to "sky", it´s set to "flat-shaded". Then it works.

The map-compiler has removed the top of the old cube.

It seems that the physic engine needs a closed level.

Open the "loop.wmp" with WED, build it new (becuase 6.4 is not 100% compatible to 6.31.4) and click "run".

You don't have to rebuild it. The current download is already built with 6.4.

The problem with floating is due to the way the wheel size is calculated. I am enclosing the entity in a box and then measure the diagonal in 6.40. In earlier versions I instead used the longest side of that box. There's no difference in 2D, but in 3D, the wider the wheels the more the car will float.
With the old method, however, non-spherical entities would instead penetrate the floor. I am not sure yet how to resolve this.
