I've updated the racer to work with 6.40.0
I had to do two things. One is to rebuild the level as everything was off the ground. The second was update "cg_add.wdl" as it used a lot of old code. such as "create" and "remove" outside of that the whole thing works like normal. I can't release that code as Conitec made the source only downloadable for those with pro. However I don't see a big deal with loading up a resourced exe to show it, but i see no difference from 6.31.4
To Conitec: If you like I can send you the updated script of "cg_add.wdl".

Hi. Could you send the updated race demo and level? I own a Pro version of A6. Or you could send it to conitec to replace the old one. Thanks and Merry Cristmas.

http://www.foxhound-production.com/downloads/racerdeom.zipThere is the exe. One thing I'm really liking is the dll in the files instead of such a huge exe file. This makes updates and patches easier to make and send (i usually send a couple to a friend of mine a night). Since Conitec isn't finished with this beta release yet i doubt they would want one compiled with a beta. The code is still up for them though.

Thanks FoxHound.
Did you find any problems? I found two: Sometimes one of the tyres sink on the terrain; And somentimes a tyre starts to make crazy moviments.

A couple of things that i remember being there the first time. Like the tires would come off a bit slightly. Had the same problem with this monster truck game I made. I fixed it by lowering the wheel weight. The other thing I found but could never get it to reproduce is where tires started in the wrong spot. On top of the buggy instead of in the wheel wells.
While I never seen the second one happen in 6.31.4 (I think it was a fluke), I have seen the first one.
So in the end, nothign worth complaing about but nothing worth mentioing either.

Don't want to hijack this thread, but this might interest you; Mmm, so you say the wheel model on top of the car model wrongly placed? I'm having some trouble right now with something similar.. I'm having a water plane going halfway through my terrain hills, whereas in 6.31.4 it worked out fine and made my terrain look like a island in a big sea, in 6.4 it seems as if the sea plane is stuck almost on top of the hill terrain... I had something like this in 6.31.4 too, but changing the sea plane's position slightly used to take care of it, but with 6.4 not anymore, or so it seems...
Cheers

Have you rebuilt the level in 6.4 yet? I've had to do that with pretty much ever level so far.
