If I use ent_create to create an entity at run time and then scale it, the manual says that the bounding box changes but not the "collision hull". Is that so? Does that mean that a reduced entity will still collide as if it were the original size?

no it will collide by the bounding box i think...it should collide correctly no matter what scale you make it.

And if you use polygon collision this isnt an issue.
