Hello all,

I hope someone can answer this; so far every question I've posted on these forums has been unanswered. My problem is I have a model I placed in a level in WED, built the level, then deleted the model from WED (its not showing on the Object list or on the Grids) but I keep rebuilding the level and the model is still showing up in it when running the level. Any ideas?

Thanks

Can you show us your Map compiler screenshot.

Click :
1) Build button
2) Click ">>>" button
3) Press PrintScreen
4) Post the screenshot here.

And what is your 3DGS version?

Thanks for the reply, I'm using Team Com 6.31.4/WED V6.269.
I don't know how to post the image on the forum, but I have "Build Level" selected with everything else still on their default values.

I don't have A6 Team Comm version, didn't know
is there any build options other than A6 comm
in the Map compiler.

By the way, you have to submit more info for us to help,
like do you run your level with script?, have you write
a ent_create function in your script etc...

You may also post this question to the "Ask Conitec"
forum, they might help you out.

To post a image on the forum, you have to :
Upload your image to your website, then copy and
paste the link between [image] and [/image], for example :

Thank you again for the reply. And no, I don't have any scripts attached to this level yet, am just building it in WED. I should note that if in Windows I delete the .mdl file from my project folder the level executes with no error and without the deleted model appearing. (which is strange to me as usually if WED can't find a model file it needs I get a warning/error window.) I plan to just do this unless this might cause problems later on.

only thing i can think of off hand. Not sure if this still happens.. really havent worked in wed for awhile.

Anyways, sometimes when you open a level it will append ~???? something like that to the file name... Look at the top bar to make sure the level has the correct name. If it has anything like ~??? then resave it and build again. If you just deleted an entity you should be able to build with update entitys only.... If that still doesnt work tho you may want to try for a full build again.

Hope this helps.
