Side note: I think it's highly odd that the version nmber is required for something of this sort. I've seen a number of threads like this where the first response is to ask for version number. It WAS working, now it's not working anymore. Same thing happened to me.

My best suggestion? Uninstall, remove all items from the registry (look for MED, SED, and WED, or possibly just WED6, under HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> WED6). Then reinstall. This got it working for me.
