As to a sliding door, those are easy. The only difference is that, instead of changing the pan value, you're just changing the coordinate values. The skill properties in WED are otherwise useless without a script.

When writing the script, I suggest defining a base (using skills 2 through 4), the starting position from which the door is located. Skill 1 is the distance the doors move.
