Hi
so far I've asked about path creation and following path.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't get my ball.mdl to follow a path.
I followed the directions on the AUM magazine 1st person shooter tutorial.
I've tried: 1. creating my own patrol path action ....didn't work
2. using the standard actors.wdl, patrol_path action attached to
my ball.mdl
3. I recreated the ball.mdl and renamed it ball_new.mdl
Problem: I use WED to create a closed path. I attach the ball to the path using the properies box. I set the ball to the patrol_path action (from the standard actors.wdl file). I start the game, the ball does not travel the path.
in the game there are two models that are supposed to move, 1 player (works fine) and the ball.
I eventually need to trigger the ball so it fallows the path into a net.
the path follows the x and z axis (is this the problem??)
