Well i have the a6 comm edition and i am trying to make a game. i press file > map properties (sorry for spelling) and i click new script. now in the blank it saids shootingtest.wdl and then i add cbabe.mdl in a hollow cube and when i right click her and go to props and then the section where it saids ndef i click folder, but all the basic scripts GONE!?!?! there isn't a player_walk or anything what is wrong please give me a step by step guide.

Hiya.

All that the "new script" (your first step) does is set up a script file (the "shootingtext.wdl") with some basic included scripts. What you have to do after that is add the plBiped.wdl and one of the camera .wdls (FirstPersonCamera.wdl or 3rdPersonCamera.wdl...something like that, can't remember the exact spelling). After you do that, *then* you can righ click on your cbabe.mdl and choose the action for her ("plBiped.wdl" I think it's titled...probably the only one that will show up anyway).

Did that make any more sense to you? What version of 3dGS are you using? The latest one, 6.40.2?, has a slightly different way of setting up and including scripts and stuff.

YESSSS THANKS!!!!! but what now i gotta add all sccripts?!?!? i mean i liked when the older ones had play walk player shoot play attack and all that already is there a script where it has all those!?!?!?

The older actions, such as player_walk_fight, are in the A5 templates. Choose the A5 template under map properties -> New Script if you want them
