I'd like to know if I can get some advises on terrain import. First of all how do I create different size terrain in MED? Second cause once I bring the terrain created in MED(HMP) into WED..its only one size so I have to make duplicates if I want bigger terrain. I guess its ok to use snap grid but I never could get the texture to match up. Any advise?
Thank you.
Tri

When you start a new terrain, there should be a box asking you for different demensions. Change the verticies horizontal and verticies vertical to change the size of the terrain.

use the scale tool inside WED.

take a picture of the top view of the terrain, inside MED, and delet everything else but the top view. then, set it as the background, and paint over it. This should give you a good estimate of where different textures should go.

good luck

Thank you Rad for your replies.

Can I ask how come I only can scale the terrain(HMP) in WED in all direction(x,y,z) at once eventhough I select restrict to vertical and with MDL I can scale in any direction(x or y or z) at one time. Did I miss something?

Thanks,
Tri
