from what i can tell you can only have verts weighted 100% to a bone.. is this correct?
this seems rather restrictive and makes smooth skining impossible, is there a way to at the very least allow for up to 3 bones to influence any single vert. i would like to use bone animation because of the flexability but if i can only weight a vert 100% to a bone it seems pretty useless. i am hoping this is not true but if it is are there any plans to change it?

There are going to be weighted vertices. see forecast page for future features that are going to be implemented.

i've asked this also a few weeks before, because i need this feature for the same reasons. But don't caclulate with the feature in the next few monthes. I've watched it for over 9 monthes already, but in none of the updates it was included. So at the moment we don'T know, wehter it comes this year, next year , oder never
