thanks i'm not a good coder in "lite-c" i just code in c#.
But i will look into that template though.
if you knew how to code in c#, c-script would be childsplay.. and dont go around asking for code.. write it on your own, if you dont know how then learn how.

when i said that i meant general coding with c# i dont use c# for game coding.
also before i start another noobish topic i was just wondering i notice that when i add the a5 a6 templates (basic templates). They add differrent action and models, and scripts.(i think thats what it does) But when i add the a6 template it adds no models or actions.)
am i doing something wrong. What can i doto fix the prob.

I hate to say it, but it's a lot harder to make a non-FPS game with gamestudio than the website might have you believe. If you want to make a platformer or other non first-person-shooter game, you're going to have to knuckle figure out how the code itself works, or have the good fortune to find a gifted programmer to help out. The old A5 templates are better for platforming, I think. Check out the old techdemo level and figure out how it works, and you'll be on the right track. I still can't get my head around most of the 3D math required to make good movement code, but there are good people here who can help in a pinch. I wouldn't start with the A6 templates, the code is harder (at least for me) to read and understand.. It's not a good idea to mix templates either-- many of them aren't compatible so you will get errors-- so I'd stick with the old A5 (unless you really want an FPS!) Just because gamestudio is more accessible than other game engines, it's still a LOT of work! ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif) best wishes jetpack monkey

you have to add some scripts first just go to add script or project manager and add the script name plbiped01 then you will find a player action.
Wait, there isn't a "Make My Game Now" button?
