Hello to everyone in the shaders forum. I am currently having trouble with models whose textures become offset when taken from MED to WED. This only seems to occur with models that are originally in the .3ds format. When viewed in MED, the models look completely normal, with the skins fitting perfectly. When put into WED, however, the skins make the models look completely freaky. All of the textures are of powers of two (512x512, 1024x1024, etc...). I have checked the UV mapping in 3ds max, tried reapplying the textures in WED, and I have also checked the normals, which seem to be pointed in the right direction. So, if anyone could help me out with this problem, I would really appreciate it. Thanks alot.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, when I preview the object in MED using the engine preview, everything looks just fine. But, I also am not putting a shader on the model (at least, nothing more than the skin in MED), so you are definitely right, I should move to a different forum. So, if you have any advice on where to post this problem, I would really appreciate the input. Thanks again for the help!

Thanks again for the help, sorry I didn't respond sooner, I haven't checked this post for a while. I will have to see if Wings3D works. Also, I may try posting this in the other forum, thanks for telling me about that. Oh, and by the way, I am currently using 3ds Max to create models. I make them in the .max format, and then export them into the .3ds format.
Thanks again.
