Have you seen the WED tutorial? I ask, because I think this is about as step-by-step as it gets and we've yet to get any positive feedback on it (or much feedback at all). I'm not sure if most people even look at it...

I tried to make it even easier with a Flash tutorial. But I got almost no feedback on that either.

I don't want this to turn into a "Programmers bitch about writing docs that users never read." thread. But I would like honest feedback on what would work. The idea of a self-running demo is interesting but I don't think it would be very practical (unless somebody knows a solution). And I'm not sure if it would be any better than Flash.
