Thanks. I spend about 1 -2 hr each project on Max and I usually don't do more than one in a day, when I'm not doing a project I just watch one of the Ben Mathis videos to see how I can improve.

Sharx,
That looks astonishing so far! I'm so thankful you can do this model. I know nothing of modelling, and would rather design levels, which I find very fun =)! I searched for several royalty-free medieval armor models on the web, but didn't hit anything decent. But what you're doing is TERRIFIC!!!
Sincere regards, Liger

Ben Mathis is a character artist who is working on Bloodrayne 2, his website is poopinmymouth.com and it has a tutorial section that shows you how to make character in a few videos. He shares his method of modelling and paiting along with anything you would want to know about becoming a character artist. All the videos are 3ds max though but you could still learn from then since most 3d modelling softwares have similar tools. anyway... I've been using 3ds for maybe two months, it wasn't until a couple weeks ago I really got serious about it. I started modelling for practice which led up to me starting these request topics. @Liger - I'm glad you like it you can expect it finished within the next 2 days

Sorry for taking longer than stated. I'm just about finished now ( http://img86.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ytza4.png ), only I'm not sure how the shoulder part of the armor to attaches in the back (I was thinking same as front). If your using the armor for a character I will send the file with the pieces of armor as seperate objects so that you can scale and rotate them to fit appropiately.

That looks incredible, Sharx.
This piece of armor is actually a display object in a virtual gallery. It won't be going on any characters, so it will be good if you could send it as one whole model file.
Many thanks and appreciation, Leo
