When i run my level in WED the entire level is spinning, i looked at the website and they said if it is spinning put your joystick in the center position, but i have no joystick and the level is still spinning. what do i do to make it stop?

Two possibilities:

1. The arrow keys are pressed (or the computer thinks they're pressed due to a defect in the keyboard (you'd be seeing problems in any text-editting program with this being the case).). Try tapping the two arrow keys and see if it helps.
2. Check to make sure you don't have a code that always does camera.pan += number*time; or the related.

If otherwise, what version and edition do you have?

the arrow keys are not pressed but the computer thinks i'm holding up and right becuase when i hold down left and down the spinning slows down. the arrow keys don't effect any other program on my computer. How and where can i check the code? i have version 6.11.4

6.11.4 is a very old version (over 2 years old) and should be updated. 6.40.5 is the latest version. Although I doubt this is the cause, I don't know what else could be causing it besides something in the script. You can check the code by using the find feature. Someone else will have to help you with this, however, I've run out of ideas and I have no experience with joysticks and hardly anything with movement.

I updated my version but the problem is still there

hmm... maybe a device conflict? (-->system manager/joystick/mouse/gamepad)

how do i go to system manager?

That's a Windows thing. Click on start > control panel.

Then go to "system" > and find the button for "device manager".

If there's a conflict with device drivers, the icon will have a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark over it. Here's a screenshot to help:

Screenshot - I don't have any device conflicts so I don't have this indicator. However, this is where you'd normally find the joystick, if you have one, or other things. By default, Windows automatically expands anything where trouble is (but search everything just to be safe).
