Hi,

I have set the transparent flag of a map entity to ON and am trying to increase and decrease the alpha to vary the transparency, but it doesn't seem to be working properly. If I set alpha to 0, it is invisible, just as it is supposed to be, but if I set it to 100 then it is no different to 50 (ie. it is still transparent, when it should be completely opaque). I have never had this problem with models. Is this a problem with map entities or am I doing something wrong?

Variable transparency is only available in Pro I believe. .. ;(

No, the alpha flag which varies the transparency is available in the Extra edition and up - I have used it successfully with models and sprites, but I can't get it working correctly with map entities.

Any ideas?

D'oh! Forget it, I just found this in the bugs'n'features section:

"The ALPHA value of WMB entities could not be set to over 50 (fixed in
A5.124)."

I haven't got around to upgrading from 5.12 yet, so this is my fault. Sorry!
