how do i make a normal swinging door, swings from the hinges. wats the code ans stuff. and can you also tell me exactly how i go about putting the code into my script so i get the action in wed so i can give it to the door. and anything else i might need to know.

use my.pan for rotation , put the models origin in MED where the hinges are.
to put the action in WED if you have opened WED while writing the action you'll have to reopen the level/reload the script so that the action list updates

There is a way to have actions and scripts and such show up in WED immediately without having to close and reopen projects. Go to file -> Preferences then click on the tab that says "Advanced." At the bottom you'll see "Reload of externally modified files []Auto []Prompt []Disable." Click the []Auto checkbox. Then when you load a script or write a new action or modify an existing entity, the change will be seen in WED immediately without having to reopen the file.
