MED issues, cannot select vertecies #85518

I have layed out a set of vertecies, in MED, so that I can connect them to make the top of a grenade launcher. However, some of the vertecies refuse to be selected when I try and connect them.

They seem to change every time I save and exit. Sometimes I can select some, and other times it will not let me select them. They are vertecies completely floating in space, not connected to anything.

The model has 2 meshes so far, 1 is closed, and one (the one I am working on) is open. Any ideas what is going on?

Perhaps the bug I reported in 6.4x's MED since the first (or second?) public beta came out that hasn't been fixed yet could be to blame? Is this what you're having difficulties with? This happens when trying to build faces that span multiple groups.

If it involves the skin edittor, there's yet another bug, of which I reported when the first public beta came out that hasn't been fixed yet, when your texture is not square (a 4:1 ratio and further nonsquare is where it's really bad). It's actually still possible, but extremely difficult.
