Hmm maybe you can tinker with the values. Maybe RGB all need to go down 50 percent, and the light range reduced.

You can always hit Shift-F11, click the dynamic light, and adjust its values through the watched handle, like watched.red -= 10 and tinker with the values there. Dynamic lighting is kind of fickle and a pain unfortunately.
