Thats how it should work.

@Frits:
Do you have any energymanagement software enabled?
Check this entry in the ms knowledgebase, we had to apply
this patch to some machines in order to use dual core cpus
at 100% load.

All the items in Power Options properties --> Powerschemes -->Home/Office Desk are set to Never.

I have read the article in the ms knowledgebase, but I don't know what to do with it.
But indeed I think that some setting is wrong in my pc because when I try to run a game example in Beyond Virtual, it runs verry slow frame by frame.
On the other hand, I have a game that runs so fast that I have to shut down one processor to run the game at normal speed.

Any advice??

Frits

That's indeed a strange phenomenon. I'll look into this.

Frits,

Do you have some disc with your mainboard? Perhaps your mainboard need patch/fix for making the processor run as it should!? Don't know if this is good advice, but, that was my problem in the past with ASUS mainboard and it's fixed now.

All the best,

Dusty

I don't have a disk for the mainboard (pc is a fu@#$&g Dell).

Btw, your pictures of the taskmanager looks different then mine.
Maybe because I have XP Professional SP2?

All the best,

As your system has Intel Enhanced SpeedStep technology inbuild,
are you sure you have turned it off in the BIOS?
From the BIOS updates of your system at the Dell page,
there seemed to be a problem with it if you check the version history.
