You can try this download: http://www.firoball.de/index.php?show=19
But there are many problems under Win2000 and Win XP.
On XP systems the game usually crashes when entering level 1 (starting new game). Level2 and Level3 work fine.
The DOS executable has problems as well. Sound most likely won't work and sometimes it runs very very jerky.
So what you can do is finish level1 with the DOS version, save at the start of level2 and then continue with the Windows version.
However, timing was not very accurate in A3, so there are several timing problems when running on a newer PC.
If you can get a Win9x PC or an old Dos PC - run it on this machine.
Thanks,
I got it running on XP!
I have the open CMD here option from the XP Power Toys.....
I have the Kandoria folder on my destop I right click on it and use open CMD window here.
this puts me inside the kandoria folder.... now I just type or paste: Kandoria-dos.exe and the game runs fine except no sound.
there are programs to restore dos sounds out there for Xp I'll try those.
Now If I can figure out how to use my weapons.. LOL
Thanks,

PS: Even though it may be a little old by most peoples standards, all in all.... seems to be a pretty good game.

F6 opens the backpack. Then press home to equip. pgUp/PgDn to cycle through the items. I had a more advanced version which had hotkeys, automatic weapon equipment and a nicer inventory control (A3 did not support arrays - it was like hell scripting this inventory system!), but it never got dfinished and is not in a playable state. So you'll only see the hack'n slay part. The original game was more than that, but I needed something for the contest Press F1 in the game to get an overview over the key layout.

yeah, what happened to the voxel concept anyways?
I think cheap 3D accelerator cards finally killed voxel gaming engines.
Voxels are still an interesting concept, and they still use them in the medical industry, but they don't scale well for games.
