14 heisst also in % 14,28,56 LOD relative zur Cliprange

I also think about this "goodie"

During the "adventuring" part of the game, the framerate is
evend out to around 25-30 FPS (with the specific LOD)
So the player can enjoy a nice scenery.

now when it comes to a fight, the engine increases the FPS
to around 40-50 FPS, by reducing the LOD.
Sine the player needs in this condition a high Framerate, and does not care much about
the scenery.

Nice idea. My fps level was constantly 20. Athlon64 3500 + GeForce 7800 GT

20 ist the highest the level is beeing set.
meaning a LOD step of 20%,40%,80% relative to the clip_range

I will have to set the threshhold Framerate higher than 25 FPS,
probably to around 30-35 FPS.

So when it says 'FPs 20' thats saying the LOD is at 20% or that the FPS is 20?
Whatever it was, mine was at a constant 20...
Then again...
This is hippieland...

That's years i've seen this cool project here
I like it and it's universe.

And it has evolved very well , it looks really good.
I hope one day it will turn to a great game, and play it

I should have called it "LOD Level" ...

anyway:

the coloful shot, is probably the terrainshader not working correctly,
I can make a fallback with the sandtexture also.

Thanks Expert,
the Wasteland setting is the one I like the most.

Some of Loopix trees,
first try.
The trees need to be redone and renders with shadows, but it looks a bit more
dense then just the plain desert...
