luis29999 OP Newbie Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 28 United States	When I create my own texture and add it to blocks of my level it looks wierd in the 3D window view. It has like dark areas. But when I load my level I have no problem. Where do I fix it? --->I saw a post like this long time ago about a guy having the same problem as me but because I was not into texturing yet I did not pay attention to it. I tried to remember where I saw that post and did not work.

Towelie Serious User Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 1,785 Jesusland	Don't do BMP files, save as .tga. If you are using MSPaint, go to the 'tools' forumk and go to the starving developer's quickstart guide. Where it says '2d stuff' download the GIMP. Alternatively, google the GIMP. I do not suggest image searching it. Its a free nice program, about as powerful (or close to) PaintShop Pro Jimmy died, today, he blew his brains out into the bay, in the state of mind, its my own private suicide. A stitch in time saves nine... what the hell does that mean?!?

luis29999 OP Newbie Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 28 United States	I have paintshop pro and I do save my images as a tga. file. There most be something wrong with te settings, but where do I change them?
