Hey guys!
A friend and I are working on a hobby project using 3DGS. I just got this message from him:
"I’m a tad frustrated because I did my terrain-texture painting in another program (it was way easier), and exported it, but 3dGS doesn’t seem to recognize that it’s a textured object. Not really sure what to do about that.
I exported it as a .map file from the terrain editor, opened it up in WED, and nothing. Is it possible to bring in a map file with its own texture, or do you HAVE TO apply textures in 3dGS?"
Any insight, guys? I'm more of a programmer (though as far as 3DGS goes, I'm still learning to crawl before I walk...) so I don't have a ton of insight for him...
