I am working with a level designer who asked me the following about MED:

I don’t know if you know anything about MED, but the help files/tutorials were written for AC3 or 4, so they’re outdated.
The GameStudio Wiki is pretty sparse, and there seem to be some technical difficulties with the User’s Voice website (example: many links aren’t clickable and linked pages are nonexistent).
I’m having two problems:
1. I can’t lay out the UV maps to skin a model. Apparently there used to be a single command to do that, but now it seems like there are two commands: 2-sided and 6-sided. Both options are consistently grayed out for me.
2. I can’t seem to figure out how to line up vertices of my model with the grid. I finally figured out how to turn the grid on, but now the vertices are being stubborn and aren’t snapping correctly. It’s causing some major havok because the models I’m making need to have corners and straight sides, not slightly-out-of-place edges.
Any thoughts?
