Hi, I am sorry to say that the IB connection is still not working reliably with the IB Gateway after the upgrade to Zorro v3.01. There are 2 systematic issues as far as I can gather:
- The first time I press on trade (demo), it connects to the Gateway but does nothing. Then I click on Stop, then on Trade again and it connects to the Gateway and this second time it starts downloading data, etc as normal. This behaviour did not happen with the previous versions of Zorro.
- Every time the Gateway restarts (every day), even if it re-opens and re-logins automatically, Zorro loses the connection to it permanently (red square in the connection status).
Any clue on how to resolve the above?
Thanks

Hello Tip. It's obvious that we look with a different lens, which is interesting. With this being said I try to grasp your philosophical/spiritual take on at trading/economics/markets. What makes you think that market places (exchanges, platforms, etc) will vanish? And which factors will play role in this?

I was playing around with NumCore. Despite the fact that I have 32 logical cores, I ran Zorro64 now with NumCore=3 and it is running a little bit more stable, but not good. I also using Process Lasso and allocate Zorro to the Performance cores of the Intel i9. Actually, I feel this is a Win 11 thing and parallelizations seems to be an issue, when it get complex. Linux might be better prepared for this.
Anyone recognised similiar behaviours?
