Hi,

based on my RTS system started to be developed with 3DGS a long time ago, and ported to Unreal Engine 4, a new game project is here, called Edge of Chaos. A little team is being formed, currently working on the basic game systems and art stuff for an announcement trailer.

these are basically concept designs made for a trailer, but we try to achieve something breathtaking, reinterpreting visual quality of the RTS genre, thanks to modern hardware and software technologies and possibilities. it is going to be a big adventure for me, because I have to provide the solid background as a programmer laugh

No, firstly atm we cannot achieve such a high unit quantity (because of AI and rendering), secondly we want a closer control of units, thus can concentrate on having high quality graphics currently available only in first or third person games.

we use Unreal Engine 4, and the level is made by our level designer i.e. one person, using mostly UE4 marketplace assets (what makes initial design really fast), but the landscape, rivers and some animals are custom made (we are replacing bought stuff with our own ones continuously). the video is made by our concept artist. it required a few months beside job and university, but I don't know exactly, I'm the programmer in the team laugh
