EVENTS with Physics - 02/13/11 21:55

Hi, I can't seem to get events (such as ENABLE_IMPACT / EVENT_IMPACT) to register when I am using the physics engine to handle a moving entity. Is it possible to check for events when the entities are registered with the physics engine or do they only work for c_move instructions? How can I check if two entities registered with the physics engine have collided so that it can trigger certain codes?

I am using A8's Nvidia PhysX as the physics engine.

Thanks,

You need to use
pXent_setcollisionflag ( entity1, entity2, var event)
and the event EVENT_FRICTION.
