[Newton] Driving on models - 10/02/05 21:02

Hi,

I have a car which I want to be able to drive on top of road models.
I have got models for different road pieces. But whn I put the newton car
on it (after giving it the newton wood entity behaviour), it seems to get stuck
on the road and does not move. If i do not give it the newton wood entity
behaviour then it just passes through it, thus making the sidewalks etc useless.
So how do I get it to drive over the road (model).

Thanks,

This is because Newton uses the old collision system. It uses the old bounding box.

Hello,

I have asked the same question (car wheels penetrate...). So far no answer, the tyres appearantly do not have a collision property. Maybe you have more luck.
The tires seem to have no collision box at all.
