What is the best configuration for A6-A7.

I am considering to buy a new system, and would like to know what would be the best system configuration that I should go for. The games I would develop are for personal use only. So I am looking for future compatability of A7 + Dx10.

Any new system that's suited for Vista is also suited for A7. The only requirement for A7 will be a video hardware that supports shader model 2, 3, or better - this is the case for all ATI and nVidia cards.
