Upgrade Path A6 Std to A7?

Hello, I am still learning my A6Std. I have been trying out the C-Lite because I need to be closer to C/C++/Javascript in my coding. However, unless I get a team or get on a team, I am working on my own incrementally. What is the best path for me?

C Lite non-free?
A7 Extra?

That depends. A7 Extra has the WED level editor and the template system, so it's more similar to the A6 Standard edition, than lite-C. You can see the major differences here:

So, far, I am only working on a 2D prototype for a game similar to a card game. I am working on adding cards. I will just have card images not even backgrounds for awhile. Can I do that with my Lite-C only?

Also, I am a bit confused about this:
Gamestudio/A7 Commercial Upgrade from A6

Does that mean I can upgrade from A6std to A7 Commercial for $99?

so no. a6 comm->a7 comm is $99

If it's just a card game you probably don't need to buy Gamestudio at all - lite-C will do.
