A7 upgrade available?

Hi, i have the 'Extra' edition of A7 and wanted to upgrade to the commercial version. There is only options to upgrade A8, is there anyway to upgrade A7?

That's an update. He wants an upgrade. That is to say, he wants to go from Extra A7 to Com A7, which is a step that requires money.

This, err, is not a recommendation to send them a mail just yet - I'd wait for an official reply as well. I just wanted to fill this space with something perhaps useful to you. If not, my apologies.
(Also, I'm curios: Is there a specific reason you're not getting A8, or do you do it as it's (a final "probably") cheaper to upgrade A7?)

The update for A7 is to A7.86 it`s near the A8 version but it`s not a Com Version

A7 Com is not available anymore, but AFAIK you can upgrade from A7 Extra to A8 Com at EUR 125. Please contact support (at) 3dgamestudio.net for this.

Thanks for the replys, that's too bad because my project isn't compatible with A8 and i really wanted to add multiplayer and shaders to my game

Then you can Download the A8 Free Version an uptdate to a Full Version.But you must pay for the Update from a free to a Full Version. The free Version has not all functions you need.

How come that your project is not compatible to A8? Does A8 show you script error messages? It would then probably better to fix those errors than continuing with A7.

I tried to move it to A8 but for starters i'm using c-script so i'll loose all the physics functions, i managed to fix all the bugs and syntax errors so the game runs fine when i run it from WED but if i publish it and run the EXE it crashes without warning so i couldn't go any further. I know everyone is going to tell me to start again using lite-c but i have literally hundreads of lines of code so i can't possibly start again.

At least the crash is certainly unrelated to using C-Script or lite-C. Running the EXE is the same as running your game from WED, with the exception that it runs it in a different folder. So any such problems with the EXE are due missing or different files in the CD folder, compared to the project folder.
