in wed there is no limit...but in the engine itself it can be only...2000k? or 200k

just test it out...subdivide a model really often and start the engine..then you'll see an error message how many polygons to use maximale

As far as i know the limit is at ~65k polys.

Oh yea what I meant was the engine not WED. It is good that you get an actual error message that is specific about that. Also, is the limit 65k, 200k or whatever, is that limit per model or a TOTAL limit of polygons that can be in a level? Do you understand what I mean?

If I once understood it right, it is a directx limit and only per model.

Does WED actually have a limit on the poly count of a model that can be imported into it? Is this a documented limitation?
