It originally occured when i tryed the A7 trial and i just blew it off thinking it mint just be a bug in the trial ver. I now however just reacently perchaced the A7 commercial ver and continue to have the malfunction. To be clear im gona go step by step what i do. and what the problem is.

1. start up WED
2. Hit New
3. Creat box
4. hallow Box
5. place textures form standard wad
6. save
7. build (everything showes to be ok)
8. Run (this is were the problem startes)

the window goes black and a grey message box comes up looking like this

Malfunction W1301
<ONE.WMB>: Can't open file
[OK] [CANCEL]

I hit ok then get this(hiting cancel just exits out)

Error E1100

Error E1301: Can't open file
The given file was not found in the path or resource.

Tried your steps and everything seems to work fine. Did you save your level as one.wmp? And when you run the level does the popup dialog display: one.wmb -nx 30 or something like that? Also did you build BSP MAP or was there some other option selected?

I did not save my file as one.wmp I saved it as REtry.wmp and the popup dialog displays this:

retry.wmb -nx 30 lvl.wmb lvl.wmb lvl.wmb lvl.wmb lvl.wmb lvl.wmb one.wmb one.wmb

and yes i built BSP MAP.
