Other kinds of templates - 10/13/09 13:19

I have been looking around for different templates to use. I found one here but unable to buy it yet. http://s1.webstarts.com/3DGPRODIGY/
Does anyone have any other links to Genre templates? I have been looking every where and thats the only one I could find other than the ones that come with 3dgs. Just started playing with the express version and can't wait to upgrade! tongue Its very fun and easy.

Thanks!

I would suggest designing the code yourself. I know, its harder and takes longer, but you will end up with a game that is exactly how you want, not a game within the confines of predefined code.

Trust me, it will be a great decision to attempt to code it yourself. Then, you can develop games for any genre! wink Even make up your own!

But either way, I would recommend the AUM. Its not strictly 'templates', but provides some very good starters for games. Its here:

And there is also the Lite-C workshops which provide a good programming tutorial:

Hopefully all that was some help,

ya I decided to go ahead and do my own programming. I did run into a weird issue that I cant seem to find on the tutorials or manual. I created a terrain in MED and skinned it. But when I add the terrain to my level in WED it looses the skinning and will not let me add a texture to it from WED. So I do not know what I am doing wrong. I have the A7 version.

Thanks laugh

Well my terrain issue has solved itself. I re saved it and re added it to my level and now as a terrain object it has the texture attached. laugh
