Maybe you could add this as a tool in MED?

he wrote it at a thread befor, he wants to stretch bones during animation mode.

idk for sure but, either that cannot be stored in MDL7 or engine is not programmed to play this. Why you want it that much? afaik no bone animation software does what you want either?

I don't know what your versions of MED are able to do, but my can change the bone size during animation. Just did a short test. It shows it in the engine preview as well.

All you have to do is to toggle the Fixed Bone Size button right at the bottom of the editor.
