when creating a skybox around a landscape terrain .hmp that I added, how should the skybox be placed?
If it touches nothing I get leaking error with map compiler which doesnt sound good. If I intersect the bottom of landscape with skybox it may cut in and out of landscape because of altitude changes.
Whats the best rule for creating skyboxes around "Add Terrain" landscapes? Its not like those types of landscapes have a thickness like a cube floor so I dont see how you can keep it from leaking.

Hi!

Check to see if you have objects outside your sky box.
If so place all off them inside the sky box.
Place the sky box and all objects close to the center.

No need to worry about level leaking if you are not using BSP map. Just ignore the warning message. You still can create skybox in run tume using "ent_create".

Or if you still concern about it, here's a tip when creating sky box:
1.create a big box, apply texture to it, mark all face to none(flag)
2.create another box smaller about 32 quant in all direction, align it to be centered inside the first box, apply sky texture to all the face.
3. substract the smallbox from the bigger one, and delete it.

Hope it help.
