I have a map built in wed but all of my models/terrain doesnt cast a shadow but the prefabs do..is their a way to change this?Also, all of the places not lit are completely black,is there a way to change that?

Do you have set the Shadow Flag? Do you have A7 Com? Is the ground a Terrain?

The ground is is a terrain,the shadow flag is set but im not sure if its the A7 comercial,but it is A7

In A6 there was a "Cast Shadows on Terrains" Bug... to solve this only create a large Block under the Terrain with the default texture, maybe this helps...

ok thanks for the tip....will this work for my other models(trees/rocks)?
the tip worked for my characters shadow but all my detail modesls still arent casting a shadow
my terrain is alto not creating a shadows from the hills
Hiya.
Again, what version of the engine are you running? Look under "Help" then "About" in WED.
For the "no light = black" part...change the Ambient color of the level under "File --> Map Properties --> Sun". For most outdoor levels you probably want to go with a dark purple or blue depending on how Yellow/Orange or White your Sun light is.

Hm why don't you update on the newer great A7.82? Pro is expensive and therefore you should get everything out of the product you have paid for.
