Problem with SUN_COLOR

I maked my LEVEL with blocks and I using SUN_COLOR to get a effect of transition DAY/SUNSET/NIGHT. but the static shadows in the LEVEL BLOCK dont show up anymore because I have to set the to "FILE/MAP PROPERTIES/SUN = 0,0,0" (if change this number the sun_color dont work).

there´s a way to make the shadows appears in my level ?

Well don't set the sun to 0 when you want shadows from the sun.

sun_color is a script variable and works always, just set it after level loading.

thanks , but I tryed that and still not working...

I changed to 5,5,5 , 10,10,10 and others but the SUN_COLOR dont work anymore... works only with my models...

Maybe the sun_color variable does not affect blocks, only models.

For day_night I would not use sun_color anyway, but directly change the default block materials, mat_flat and mat_shaded. You have much more control over the lighting this way.

I disagree...

I tested without the shadows and works perfectly...

The LEVEL change the colors in real time. The only problem is the absence of the static shadows.

I tryed to add a "MYLEVEL.WMB" (map entity) with shadows and dont work either.
