Med.exe question - 08/29/19 06:14

In a Med model with various animations, such as stand, walk, run, Is it possible to adjust/alter a few vertices/geometry on just One frame only? (without affecting the geometry of the other animations?

If that is possible I really would appreciate if somebody can let me how to do that.

Thanks!

Not easily. It will normally effect each frame that occurs after the one you are changing. However, if you carefully change the frame you need, and then set everything back to where it should be in the next frame, then it should have the effect you are looking for. I've done this by activating "snap" and then counting the number of positions I move each vertex. In the next frame I move it back the same number of positions, and it will be like I never moved it.

It is a good habit to get used to working in sequence with animations, because they are hard to adjust like this.

Hey Dooley!

Thanks for the tip man! Really appreciated!

You were right that changing vertices in first animation frame affects the ones after it, so what I did was move the animation frame that I needed to tweak the vertices to the end of all frames and was able to achieve what I needed.

Thanks again!!

Oh, nice! Were you then able to copy it back to its original position without effecting the others? I may need to try that! laugh

After changing vertices in the animation frame that I needed to tweak the vertices, I simply left it at the END of to all the frames. Thanks again !
