Can't use Model Editor?

Well I downloaded the trial version and when I try to open the model editor I'm asked to choose GXL Object, but when I do I get an error message saying it can't load the GXL. What should I do?

I find it rather dumb for MED to be asking that. The GXL object you should use is the one that ends with an A: GXL2DX8A.DLL.

Actually its asking for 2-d Views or 3-d Views, and now that I look at it, the only option under both of them is Glx2DX8A.dll and thats what its saying it can't load

You need to set each of them to the same thing. For the 2D and 3D views, be sure to select the one ending with 8A.DLL.
